We are proud to be home to the Newton Cardinals! Our strong and vibrant Cardinal community includes nearly 450 dedicated employees and approximately 2,700 students. At Newton, we are committed to our mission:

Our district provides outstanding learning opportunities across multiple schools:
- Elementary Schools – Emerson Hough, Thomas Jefferson, and Woodrow Wilson
- Middle School – Berg Middle School
- High Schools – Newton High School and WEST Academy
We are excited about the future of our district! During the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school years, we are remodeling and expanding two elementary schools, Thomas Jefferson and Aurora Heights. These improvements will allow us to consolidate into two elementary schools beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, providing enhanced learning opportunities for our youngest students.
