August 21, 2003

Greetings Cardinal Family,

Welcome to a special Monday edition of the Red Pride Review! As we stand on the threshold of a brand new academic year, I want to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to each and every one of you as we return to school on Wednesday, August 23rd. The energy of the imminent school year buzzes in the air, reminding us of the promise and potential that lies ahead. We welcomed our staff back for the new school year last week with a fun video which you can view below. It has become a tradition that we look forward to every year.

Please join me in a special welcome to our new staff and families joining the Newton Community School District family this year. Your decision to be a part of our community speaks volumes about your commitment to excellence in education, and we are delighted to embark on this journey together.

The start of a new school year is much like laying the foundation for a building. The preparations made over the summer by our dedicated teams - from curriculum development to maintenance, from technology upgrades to teacher training - are instrumental in ensuring a strong and effective educational framework. I want to take a moment to recognize and commend the sheer hard work, passion, and dedication displayed by everyone involved in this process. Your efforts have paved the way for an exciting and impactful school year.

Yours truly,

Tom Messinger

"School Starts In 2 Weeks?!?!"

Summer break went by too quickly for our staff, too! But as it takes a team to lead our students, it also takes a team to get ready for the return to the school!
